My progressive lenses

Progressives actually do take a little time to get use to. Now, they work fine. They only took a couple of days to get use to.

Exam room painting

We painted the exam room Saturday night. I hate painting. Worse yet, it needs another coat. Like a fool, I made a deal with Dr. Laughlin and now I have to put the second coat on!

New at Dr. Laughlin's Eye Center in Greensburg

In our effort to serve the eye care needs in Greensburg, we have added incredible new technology to our office. With our new retinal thickness analyzer (RTA 5), we are able to diagnose glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal tears and holes, macular swelling and many other diseases earlier than before. Even more important, the Vision Wellness Report allows us to measure baseline norms which we can compare to future visits. This new technology helps me to provide even better care for our patients. Schedule your appointment soon to get your Vision Wellness report. Call 724-832-1055. My staff will be happy to assist you!

Dr. Christopher gets bifocals--ugh!

I think the frames are pretty cool. Retro cool, but Dr. Laughlin doesn't quite agree yet. It is from a new line of frames. Lucky Brand Spectacles. I think they are very cool.
I am having the frames fit with the latest Varilux progressive lens desing in brown transitions. I will let you know how I like them.

Dr. Laughlin at her first 5K run

Of course, she doesn't know I am posting this. This is at the Latrobe Turkey Trot. We haven't posted on this blog lately because like all things, I forgot the password.
Soon, we will update the main website if I can remember the password. Unfortunately, the computer I use for that website is inacessible. It is in a roll top desk. My daughter locked the desk and promptly lost the keys. The kind folks at Roomfull Express are sending me another set of keys.
Look for the updated website soon!
